Senior Yemen al Qaeda leader threatens U.S. attacks -

A senior member of al Qaeda's Yemen wing who the Yemeni government said it killed has emerged on an internet forum, threatening to carry out attacks in the United States.
"Today, you have attacked us in the middle of our household, so wait for what will befall you in the middle of yours ... We will blow up the earth from beneath your feet," Qasim al-Raymi, the wing's military commander, said in an article posted earlier this month on a website used by Islamist militants.
Yemen said in January it had killed six regional militant leaders in air strikes, but al Qaeda later denied this, and other senior members Sanaa had said were dead, such as deputy leader Saeed al-Shehri, have since re-emerged on websites used by Islamist militants. Al-Fajr Media Center Releases Bin Laden Message on Global Warming -

Al-Fajr Media Center released an audio speech from al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in which he criticizes the United States and major corporations for their culpability in global warming. The speech had previously been published by al-Jazeera Television on January 29, 2010 and attributed to him. Al-Jazeera had posted the Arabic transcript of the speech on its site. Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb calls on prisones in Mauritania to rejoin them -

A leader of al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) has called on al-Qaeda prisoners in Mauritania to rejoin the group in its desert strongholds.
Abdelrahman al-Tandaghi, also known as "Abu Anas al-Shanqiti," called on the prisoners to re-link with the organization and take up "jihad" in a video released by AQIM's media arm.
The call comes as groups of Mauritanian intellectuals claim they have made strides in their government-sanctioned efforts to convince captured al-Qaeda militants to renounce "extremist thought" and violence.

Al Fajer Media Center: The Islamic Party of Turkestan claims attacks in China -

Al-Fajr Media Center released a video tape for the The Islamic Party of Turkestan (IPT), an Uighur jihadist organization, on February 10, 2010 in which the IPT claimed to have carried out a number of attacks in China in 2009, in retribution for the events of July 2009 in Urumqi.
