As-Sahab Media Productions, al-Qaeda's media arm, released on May 17, 2012 an audio message from Ayman al-Zawahiri to the people of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Zawahiri, in this 6 minutes and 19 seconds audio,called upon the Saudi people to follow the example of their brothers who raised against tyranny in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. He asked them to look to the south and see how the Yemenis faced the Saleh regime and to the north and watch how their brothers in Syria are fighting the Alawite regime. Al-Zawahiri asked them to rise and revolt against the Saud family and replace it by the Muslim state.

Al-Qaeda Airlines Magazine - "Hallmarks of Al-Qaeda" Second Issue

The second issue of al-Qaeda airlines "Hallmarks of al-Qaeda" was published on jihadist websites on April 15, 2012. The 206 slides in pdf format provide jihadists with an analysis of past operations. "'Abdallah Dhu Al-Bajadin" points out mistakes of previous attacks in order to learn from them. The file comes with nine short video clips documenting the attacks discussed in the magazine and presenting methods for manufacturing explosives.

As-Sahab Media Productions, al-Qaeda's media arm, released on May 15, 2012 an audio message from Ayman al-Zawahiri to the people of Yemen.
Al-Zawahiri called upon the Yemeni people to "rebel against the new President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi," which he described as "an agent of the Americans, like his predecessor, Ali Abdullah Saleh, who stepped down under pressure from the street." He adds that "should not be seen as savior Mansour Hadi, but rather the product of the benefit system."
Al-Zawahiri rejected accusations of cooperation between al-Qaeda and Saleh regime, asserting that "the fighters deployed in southern and eastern Yemen are working for the implementation of the Sharia"

As-Sahab Media Productions, al-Qaeda's media arm, released on May 11, 2012 a 14 minutes and 04 seconds audio message of Ayman al-Zawahiri to the people of Mujahedeen in Somalia. Al-Zawahiri gives an historical background of the "parties" defeated during the Prophet days and how it repeats itself today through the defeat of the crusades in Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia. He goes back to the meeting in London that devided the region (Middle East). Al-Zawahiri labelled those who accepted these divisions as the descendants of "Abi Raghal". He also referred to the meeting that was held in London recently in order to solve the Somali issue. Al-Zawahiri asks the Mujahedeen in Somalia to take care of these descendants: Sheikh Sharif Ahmed, Meles Zenawi ... and to fight the crusades in Somalia. It is to note that "Abi Raghal" is considered the first Arab leader who committed treason against the Prophet.

Jabhat al-Nusra claims responsibility for Damascus bombings

Jabhat al-Nusra, the al-Qaida-style group, released a statement on May 11, 2012 claiming responsability for the double Damascus blasts that occured on May 10. The PR states that these bombings are in response to the unjust aggression by the regime against the people. Jabhat al-Nusra said that the double bombings targeted the headquarters of the military establishment located in revolutiont street, in the center of Damascus. It issued a direct threat to all military and security headquarters to take these bombings as a lesson and will face the same outcome if they are invovled in repression and brutality against the Syrian people.

Al-Ma'sadah Media Foundation: "Biographies of the Martyrs in Bilad al-Sham" Issue #5

Al-Ma'sadah Media Foundation released on May 06, 2012 the fifth issue of "Biographies of the Martyrs in Bilad al-Sham". The fifth issue (7 pages) talks about Martyr Saddam Mohammad al-Hajj Dib AKA "Abi Abdullah". Dib was born in 1981 in the port city Tripoli in Lebanon. He joined the Mujahedeen in Iraq. He was arrested by the Syrian security forces while trying to sneek in Tunisian Mujahedeen to Lebanon. After 8 months in Syrian prison, he was released due to an intervention made by Sheikh Fathi Yaken with the Syrian authorities. Dib joined Fateh al-Islam in lebanon and died during a battle with Lebanese internal security forces in the battle of Al-Mi'atein in Tripoli.

It is to note that Dib is the brother of Yusef Mohammed al-Hajj who is serving a life term in German jail over a failed plot to bomb passenger trains in Germany in 2006.

Al Malahem Media Foundation released a 12 minutes and 42 seconds audio tape for Sheikh Abu al-Zubeir Adel al-Abab: "Message to the Ulama'." In this tape, Sheikh al-Abab asks the Muslim Ulama' to get the right information about what the Mujahedeen are doing in Yemen and not listen to the lies that are spread by the enemy. He asked them before issuing fatwa, they should abide by "knowledge of Reality" one of the criteria to issue a fatwa.
